SPEAKABLE ACTS: SIX PLAYS
Herman Goodden's new book SPEAKABLE ACTS gathers together his six plays which have been professionally produced on Canadian and American stages. THREE ARTISTS: KURELEK, CHAMBERS & CURNOE "Though all three artists were richly multi-faceted, for the sake of categorization William Kurelek, Jack Chambers and Greg Curnoe became publicly identified as, respectively, a folk, a realist and a pop artist. These labels made it easier (particularly in the case of Kurelek but to an extent with all three) to dismiss them and deny them the serious appraisal they deserve." - Herman Goodden Published by Elmwood Publications. Paperback, 6" x 9", 257 pp., 12 colour reproductions, $29.95 |
